Two live-music dates anchor this week in Bangkok: Yves brings a Friday show to Siam, while BABYMONSTER takes over IMPACT Arena at the weekend. Between them, build a slower itinerary around market lunches, museum rooms, temple courtyards and a free park walk. These ten things to do in Bangkok this week cover Monday 2 to Sunday 8 November 2026; ongoing experiences are labelled separately from the concerts.

1. Catch Yves at the newly confirmed Lido Connect venue

Friday’s Yves concert gives the week a definite appointment in Siam. Make time for dinner beforehand, then head to the hall for the live show. Check your ticket category carefully: the published early arrival times apply to VIP benefits, while general entry starts later. The archive photograph shows the same singer performing in Tacoma, not this upcoming Bangkok concert.

The useful update is the venue move: existing tickets remain valid at Lido Connect Hall 2, replacing Street Ratchada.

  • When: Friday 6 November; general entry 19:00, show 20:00.
  • Where: Siam — Lido Connect Hall 2.
  • Getting there: Use the venue on the updated ticket page. Ages 15 and under need an adult aged 21+ with the same ticket type.
  • Budget: General admission listed at 1,300 THB; check fees and remaining tickets before booking.

2. Turn Or Tor Kor into a weekday food stop

Browse the produce and prepared-food aisles before choosing lunch at Or Tor Kor. Looking at whole ingredients alongside the cooked dishes makes this more interesting than a single takeaway stop. Pick a small meal first and leave room to compare fruit or sweets; prices vary between stalls, so ask before ordering or buying a larger portion.

Choose a weekday for a food-focused outing that does not depend on a festival schedule.

  • When: Daily; the tourism guide lists approximately 06:00–20:00. Aim for late morning.
  • Where: Chatuchak — 101 Kamphaeng Phet Road.
  • Getting there: MRT Kamphaeng Phet; browse the covered market and food court.
  • Budget: Pay per purchase; check the displayed stall prices.

3. Take the stairs up Wat Saket’s Golden Mount

The Golden Mount earns its view one flight at a time. Follow the curving staircase through the temple grounds and leave enough time to pause, rather than treating the ascent as a race to the summit. This is a working Buddhist temple as well as a viewpoint: dress respectfully and keep the visit quiet around worshippers.

A morning climb gives the Old Town a different perspective without committing to an all-day itinerary.

  • When: Ongoing visit; suggested arrival 09:00–11:00. Check the entrance notice for current closing time.
  • Where: Ban Bat — Wat Saket, 344 Chakkraphatdi Phong Road.
  • Getting there: About a 15-minute walk from MRT Sam Yot; expect stairs.
  • Budget: Check the current admission fee at the temple; official tourism listings differ.

4. Follow a guide through Jim Thompson House

Let the house, rather than a shopping list, set the pace in Kasemsan 2. A guided visit connects the wooden rooms and their displayed objects, giving you reasons to look beyond the first photograph. Plan this as a separate stop before a Siam evening, with enough time to join a tour instead of arriving just before the final departure.

It is a compact cultural option for the working week, especially when you want an indoor alternative to another long walk.

  • When: Daily 10:00–17:00; last guided tour at 17:00.
  • Where: Pathum Wan — 6 Soi Kasemsan 2, Rama I Road.
  • Getting there: BTS National Stadium, Exit 1. Main-house visits require a guide; stairs, no elevator.
  • Budget: Adult admission: 250 THB.

5. Choose a night for BABYMONSTER’s CHOOM tour

BABYMONSTER’s Bangkok dates give pop fans two chances to build the weekend around an arena concert. Choose one performance, secure a ticket through the official vendor and plan the journey home before leaving. IMPACT is outside central Bangkok, so avoid squeezing in a distant afternoon activity that leaves no margin for the trip north.

The official tour still lists both Bangkok performances; check the booking page for current inventory, rather than assuming seats remain.

  • When: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, each at 18:00.
  • Where: Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi — IMPACT Arena.
  • Getting there: Ticket required through ThaiTicketMajor, linked from YG’s official tour page. Allow extra travel time.
  • Budget: Check the official booking page for the current price.

6. Leave an hour for Lumphini’s lakeside paths

A park walk can be the whole plan. At Lumphini, follow a lakeside route, pause under the trees and decide how far you feel like going once you arrive. Bring water and comfortable shoes; a short circuit is enough to make the contrast with the surrounding roads noticeable. There is no need to turn this into an exercise challenge.

Use this free outing to balance the week’s ticketed visits, choosing daylight or late afternoon rather than chasing a weather promise.

  • When: Daily 04:30–22:00.
  • Where: Central Bangkok — Lumphini Park, Rama IV Road.
  • Getting there: Enter through a public park gate and follow the walking paths.
  • Budget: Park admission is free.

7. Book an unhurried Thai massage at Loft Thai Spa

Put a deliberate pause between your walking days and late nights. Loft Thai Spa’s traditional Thai massage is a clothed, oil-free session with assisted stretches and pressure adapted to your comfort. Choose the duration before booking, explain your preferences to the therapist and keep the rest of that hour free from errands. This selection concerns the traditional treatment, not an assumed package or promotion.

A reserved midweek appointment gives a busy sightseeing schedule some breathing room.

  • When: Ongoing appointments; Sukhumvit 24 branch listed open daily 10:00–24:00.
  • Where: Phrom Phong — 39/1 Sukhumvit 24.
  • Getting there: BTS Phrom Phong; select this branch and confirm an available appointment.
  • Budget: Traditional Thai massage: 1,000 THB for 60 minutes; 1,400 for 90; 1,900 for 120.

8. Give Museum Siam a Tuesday-to-Sunday slot

Use Museum Siam to add context to an Old Town day. The museum’s approach invites questions about Thai identity, making it a useful companion to time spent looking at temple architecture. Leave space to read and explore rather than rushing between rooms. The photograph shows an archived interior display; it is not a promise that every object remains in the same place.

The crucial planning detail this week is its Monday closure: start your museum visits on Tuesday.

  • When: Tuesday 3–Sunday 8 November, 10:00–18:00; closed Monday.
  • Where: Phra Nakhon — Museum Siam, Sanam Chai Road.
  • Getting there: MRT Sanam Chai, Exit 1.
  • Budget: Standard adult admission: 100 THB.

9. Look beyond the first landmark at Wat Pho

Give Wat Pho time for the courtyards and decorated chedis, not only a hurried stop at its best-known hall. Move slowly enough to notice the different surfaces and rooflines, and leave active religious spaces clear for worshippers. A modest itinerary makes this more rewarding than trying to collect several temples before lunch.

Pair it with a nearby museum visit on an open day, while keeping the two stops flexible.

  • When: Daily 08:00–19:30.
  • Where: Phra Nakhon — Sanam Chai and Maharaj roads, beside the Grand Palace.
  • Getting there: Dress politely and remove shoes where required inside religious buildings.
  • Budget: Admission listed by the temple: 300 THB.

10. Spend a weekend morning at Bang Nam Phueng

Take your appetite across to Phra Pradaeng for a market built around local food, produce and community stalls. Walk through before choosing what to eat, then make a second pass for the things that caught your eye. This is an outing among market lanes, not a promise of a floating boat ride or a packaged excursion.

Unlike the weekday options above, this one belongs in the Saturday or Sunday column of your diary.

  • When: Saturday 7 or Sunday 8 November; official listing 08:00–17:00. A morning visit is suggested.
  • Where: Bang Nam Phueng, Phra Pradaeng, Samut Prakan.
  • Getting there: Plan your outward and return transport to the market before setting off.
  • Budget: Pay per purchase; food and craft prices vary by stall.

Ongoing experience — not a special event.

Plan your Bangkok outing

Start by choosing your concert night, then group the smaller outings by neighbourhood. Keep Museum Siam out of Monday’s plan, leave extra time for IMPACT and confirm reservations before travelling.
